The family of a man who was hit by an Oli Oli bus and later died last November, Is suing both the driver and his employer JTB Hawaii.
According to police, 76-year-old Ernest Urata was hit by a bus in Kaka’ako as it was making a left-hand turn from Auahi to Cooke Street.
The driver, David Kmetz, pleaded not guilty to Negligent Homicide.
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
KITV4 reached out to JTB Hawaii for comment, but have not yet heard back.
