
Wayne K. Kekina joined the firm in 1975 and has been practicing tort law for nearly forty years. He was previously a partner in a leading Honolulu insurance defense law firm. Mr. Kekina excels in the trial of a variety of tort cases involving defective products, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents and industrial accidents. Mr. Kekina has participated significantly in the successful prosecution of tort cases ranging from: the fire at the Chevron refinery and storage tanks in Oahu; to the Subaru telescope fire at the summit of Mauna Kea, Hawaii; to several industrial electrocution and equipment crush cases on Kauai, Oahu, and Maui; to the three H-3 freeway structure collapses on Oahu, Hawaii; and several catastrophic helicopter and truck collision cases on Hawaii, Maui, Oahu and Kauai. Mr. Kekina was a Captain in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam as a Congressional Inquiry Investigator.
