Laura joined the firm in 2003 after her family relocated to Hawaii. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1982, Laura worked as a critical care registered nurse in Michigan and California until she obtained her law degree in 1994. Laura’s extensive critical care nursing experience provides her with the ability to analyze cases efficiently and to understand the needs of injured plaintiffs (patients). Laura finds that advocating on behalf of plaintiffs is true to the commitment she made to patients during her nursing career. Laura also works with Hawaii's Family Court as a Volunteer Guardian Ad Litem, advocating on behalf of abused and neglected children.
